In the past decade, the Chinese market has witnessed transformation and rapid growth, and the ties of economy and trade between mainland and Hong Kong have tightened. However, enterprises based both in Hong Kong and mainland are facing the dilemma of "hard to sell and even harder to collect money". In order to solve this dilemma and further expand domestic businesses and market shares, enterprises must enhance credit risk management, tailor corporate credit policies, and implement internal credit delivery so as to increase margins and secure greater competence in the Chinese market. In this workshop, participants had discussions about three aspects, namely, the mainland credit risk status quo, highlights attracting attention from mainland corporate clients, and legal issues concerning debt collection.
